Minehead, A History of Place: What’s Your Story?
Have you got a story or memory of Minehead that you would like to share?
As part of our Minehead – A History of Place project, archaeologist and storyteller Dan Broadbent has been busy uncovering lesser-known stories of Minehead’s past and present, which will be brought to life in a new digital collection.
Dan is keen to hear from anyone with a story to tell, from local legend and folklore to personal stories or memories of Minehead life. Over the summer, Dan will be popping up at various locations around the town to collect tales old and new. If you have a story to share, you can find Dan at the following locations:
Blenheim Gardens – Sunday 26th July
Wellington Square – Thursday 30th July
Minehead Harbour – Thursday 6th August
Minehead Bay Festival – Saturday 29th August
