Since 2022, the Minehead Bay Festival has been bringing the local community and visitors together to enjoy an amazing day on Minehead’s beautiful seafront. Produced by Minehead and Coast Development Trust and the people of West Somerset, the festival is all about celebrating art, culture and music with our community in our lovely town!
How It All Began…
The Minehead Bay Festival started in 2022 with a simple idea: to bring art, music, and culture to the stunning West Somerset coastline while celebrating our local communities. Born from a passionate belief in the power of human connections, the festival is about more than just performances—it’s a space where everyone can get involved, discover new things, and make amazing memories together.
Our Funders
The Minehead Bay Festival was initially made possible by funding from the Hinkley Point C Community Impact Mitigation Fund and the Coastal Communities Fund, which saw a range of projects delivered on Minehead’s seafront. After two successful years, the festival is now funded by the National Lottery Community Fund and our generous sponsors and donors!
